Spent the day at Villa Escudero with a few friends courtesy of Mela Balcazar. Thank you so much Mela for having us and for being such a wonderful host.

I was supposed to take photos of different birds, flowers and landscapes but a good friend, Romy Ocon, advised me to take as much photos as I can of the Indigo Banded Kingfisher since it is the ONLY place where one can take photographs of the bird at a very close distance.

Villa Escudero is an excellent place to go birding since they have a lot of birds in the area and the people there are very protective of the birds around them. This place is nature at it's best - so many trees, beautiful landscapes, flowers, streams, rivers, insects and so many more surprises.

I turned all these photos into some kind of digital art.
