It wasn't our first time to go to Balanga, Bataan to go bird watching. The first time for us wasn't really an exciting experience at all because of two reasons - 1st, we got lost and went insde this small village and looked at the fish ponds at the other side of the wall and 2nd, the fish ponds were filled with water and the only birds that we saw were a FEW terns and that was it. This 2nd trip was a surprising treat for me. I was able to take a lot of photos at the Sibacan bird watching site. What was really surprising for me was that I did not see a single raptor at this place considering that this area had a lot of fish ponds. As I type this, Wency and I already have definite plans of visiting this place again and the 2 other bird watching sites. I'm excited already !!!!
